By using SHOTSPOT, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.

2. Eligibility & Minimum Age

You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is not for individuals under 13.

3. Description of Service

SHOTSPOT is a free community-driven platform for discovering and sharing filming/photography locations. Provided "as is."

4. No Agency Relationship

We are not a broker, agent, or representative of any property owner. No listing constitutes permission to enter any property.

5. User Accounts

You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for your account security.

6. User-Generated Content

You grant SHOTSPOT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your submitted content in connection with the Service.

7. Permitted & Prohibited Use

Creators may use the Service to discover locations. You may not scrape, redistribute, resell, or build competing products. No false information, illegal activity promotion, harassment, or IP infringement.

8. Disclaimer of Liability — Locations

ALL LOCATION INFORMATION IS USER-SUBMITTED AND NOT VERIFIED. YOU VISIT ALL LOCATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK. You must independently verify legality, safety, permissions, and permits.

9. General Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

10. Limitation of Liability

Total aggregate liability shall not exceed what you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or $0.00.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify SHOTSPOT from all claims arising from your use of the Service.

12. Assumption of Risk

You assume all risks associated with visiting any location discovered through the Service.

13. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

Submit DMCA notices to copyright@shotspot.com. We may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

14. Content Moderation

We may review, edit, refuse, or remove any content at our discretion.

15. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content are owned by SHOTSPOT.

16. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without liability.

17. Termination

We may terminate your access at any time, without notice.

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governed by California law. Binding arbitration (AAA rules, remote permitted). CLASS ACTION WAIVER. JURY TRIAL WAIVER. Small claims exception applies.
